On April 9th and 10th, CDB had the privilege of visiting the industrial facilities of Andra - French National Agency for radioactive waste management of the CSA, of the CIRES as well as the underground laboratory of Meuse / Haute-Marne (CIGEO project)
This visit was much more than just a technical exploration; it was a dive into the technical, environmental, and societal challenges that ANDRA faces in the field of radioactive waste management. As a manufacturer of reinforced concrete containers for the storage of radioactive waste, our collaboration with ANDRA takes on its full meaning by understanding the requirements and challenges of this sector.
We were impressed by the commitment and professionalism of the ANDRA teams, as well as their transparent and innovative approach to the safe management of nuclear waste.
This enriching experience strengthens our determination to support ANDRA in its crucial mission for nuclear safety and the protection of present and future generations against the risks posed by these wastes.
